ADOP is dedicated to preserving the well being of Olympic sport, the integrity of competition, and ensuring the health of athletes.Pakistan sport is at the forefront of the international sporting community’s fight to keep sports drug-free. The Mission of ADOP is designed to deliver its objectives as the national anti-doping organization, to represent Government in international meetings and to coordinate the national anti-doping programmes of testing and education and information for sport thought Pakistan.
The Pakistan’s Anti-Doping Organization is set out Pakistan’s commitment to the World Anti-Doping Code and outlines the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in the anti-doping process.

The aims of Anti-Doping Organization of Pakistan are to:

a. Protect athletes and other participants in sport in Pakistan.
b. Promote doping-free sport in Pakistan.
c. Establish consistent standards of anti-doping policy, testing and education throughout Pakistan.
d. Encourage and build upon national and international harmonization of anti-doping in sport.

ADOP focus on four primary areas which are:

Focusing on ethics involved with the use of performance enhancing substances and the associated health risks, ADOP’s education programmes seek to inform both elite athletes and those participating in sport at school, college and university/club level, the dangers and consequences of using prohibited substances. In addition, procedures and athletes rights and responsibilities with respect to doping control are also.

ADOP is responsible for managing both In and Out-of-Competition testing for athletes in Pakistan. The major goal in testing is to achieve quality and consistency in the collection process and prompt and efficient handling of results.
